About
Praised for her clear “chiaro” sound and ringing high notes, soprano Madalyn Kiewiet is a versatile performer appearing with opera companies, orchestras, and professional choral ensembles across the United States. She is particularly recognized for her work in choral and oratorio repertoire, frequently collaborating with leading professional vocal ensembles and recording artists.
Highlights of Madalyn’s 2025–2026 season include joining the soprano section of Grammy Nominated True Concord Voices & Orchestra for their full concert season, including their season-opening concerts and annual Lessons and Carols performances. This season she collaborates with the Phoenix Chorale as a featured soloist on their commercial recording celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, produced by the Grammy Winning recording team Soundmirror. Additional engagements include appearances with The Valley Opera, including their Broadway Review, and a collaboration with the internationally renowned early music ensemble Floriani. She concludes the season with a performance at the Musical Instrument Museum as part of Phoenix Chorale’s closing concert series.
Madalyn holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Missouri State University, where she studied with Dr. Carol Chapman. Behind the Music
When she is not performing, Madalyn enjoys exploring coffee shops with her husband Matthew or relaxing in the park with their charming but famously antisocial French bulldog, Mr. Banks.
